Enroll students in your class:

When you look at your class roster you’ll notice two things. First under each name it says that the students are “pending” – although you added them to your class the students still have to create their own accounts. Second you’ll see a unique enrollment code above each student’s name. Students use this code to register for an account and ensure that they are tied to your specific class. To enroll your students …
  1. Click on the class of which you’d like to enroll students
  2. Hover over the menu bar and select “Students
  3. Click on the blue button that says Screen Shot 2014-03-03 at 8.23.46 PM. You can print them out, distribute them to your students, and they can then enroll in your class. Once they have enrolled, you can assign them video lessons, quizzes, and practice problems. Find out how to do this in the next tutorial video …

Once a student has enrolled, you can keep track of their student account information. You can see the student’s name as you entered it (e.g. “Harry Potter”) and you can see the student’s username (e.g. “HarryPotter12354”). This is the name that the student uses to log in to their account – if a student ever forgets their login information you can find their user name here. If a student forgets their password, you can reset there password by simply clicking the three horizontal bars under the student’s name, clicking edit, entering the new password and confirming it below.

  5. Dan: I have been a learnzillion evangelist for three years now. I teach math. I now have our ELA teachers using learnzillion.

I created classes, added students and passed out access codes to create accounts.

Now, the ELA teachers want to assign students, but when they assign a student, they get a different access code.

    Say it ain’t so.

I teach 8th grade. We spend an inordinate amount of time in password, logon, all that mess management.

Is there a way to synch students in both ELA and Math LearnZillion environments?

Is entering the same password and user name, ok?

    • Hi Jim – Thanks for your note. Great to hear you are using LearnZillion across the grade! Students can indeed use their same username and password for as many teachers as they have – I’ve asked my colleague, Huey, to send you more details directly. Thanks for reaching out.

      • Thank you. After several google searches I found the Learn zillion Portal. It had all the answers I nneed. In all my searching I have never seen that site before. It is now bookmarked.
